Rezerv vs Vibefam: Which one should you choose?

Discover why Rezerv is a stronger alternative to Vibefam with lower fees, better payment flexibility, stronger AI, and more built-in business tools.

Rezerv and Vibefam both help businesses manage bookings and payments. But once you look closer, the differences are hard to ignore.

From pricing and transaction fees to marketing tools, payment flexibility, and operational features, Rezerv gives businesses more without adding unnecessary limitations or extra costs.

This article breaks down the key differences so you can see which platform is the stronger choice.

I. Key differences at a glance

Here is a quick breakdown of how Rezerv and Vibefam stack up against each other across core features, pricing, and capabilities.

Notes:

**Vibefam is using Stripe as their only payment gateway for credit card transactions. And if you check Stripe’s public pricing page, their standard card transaction fee is listed as 3.4% + 50¢.

That makes Vibefam’s 3.6% + $0.80 noticeably higher than Stripe’s baseline. Which raises a simple question. Why are you paying more than the standard rate? Because there is a markup.

Vibefam is charging on top of the payment gateway, taking an extra cut from your revenue every time a client pays you.

Rezerv takes a different approach.

We do not add any platform markup on your transactions. In fact, through our partnership with FIUU, we are able to offer lower-than-standard rates compared to Stripe’s public pricing.

That means: no hidden markup, lower transaction costs, more revenue staying in your business

In simple terms:

Vibefam adds cost to every transaction.

Rezerv helps you reduce it.

II. Pricing and transaction fees

Pricing is usually the first thing business owners look at when comparing software. That makes sense. But the monthly subscription is only one part of the cost.

The bigger question is how much you will actually end up paying once transaction fees, add-ons, and extra tools start piling up. That is where the gap between Rezerv and Vibefam becomes much easier to see.

1. Base pricing

Base pricing is one of the first things businesses compare, and the difference here is already clear. Rezerv starts at a lower price than Vibefam across markets listed below:

  • Indonesia: Rp270.000
  • Malaysia: RM120
  • Singapore: S$55
  • Philippines: ₱850
  • Thailand: THB765
  • For pricing outside Southeast Asia, please refer to our pricing page* or contact our customer support team directly.

That means businesses are already paying significantly less with Rezerv before even looking at transaction fees, add-ons, or other extra costs.

But the problem is not just that Vibefam costs more on paper. The problem is that businesses are paying more from the beginning, then paying even more again once essential add-ons and higher fees start stacking up.

Rezerv gives businesses a lower barrier to entry and better value from the start.

*Our pricing page will display different pricing depending on the region you access it from.

2. Credit card transaction fees

This is where the gap becomes very obvious.

In Singapore:

  • Rezerv: 2.5% + SGD 0.20
  • Vibefam: 3.6% + $0.80

In Malaysia:

  • Rezerv: 2.3% + RM0
  • Vibefam: 3% + RM3

*For credit card transaction fees outside those two countries, please contact our customer support team directly.

That difference might look small at first. It is not.

Every single booking, every package purchase, every membership payment goes through these fees. Over time, that extra percentage and fixed charge adds up fast and directly eats into your revenue.

3. Add-on costs

Now this is where Vibefam gets significantly more expensive.

Some of the features that businesses actually need are locked behind additional fees:

  • Custom Branded Mobile App
  • Rezerv: $70 for a native app with smooth performance
  • Vibefam: $80 for an embedded website inside an app

  • AI Business Dashboard
  • Rezerv: One-time unlock fee at only S$90 without additional monthly charge
  • Vibefam: Extra S$129 per month

  • Smart Door Access
  • Rezerv: $15 with Bluetooth unlock
  • Vibefam: $50 without Bluetooth

Individually, each of these might seem manageable. But together, they stack.

And once you combine:

  • higher base pricing
  • higher transaction fees
  • multiple paid add-ons

…the total cost of using Vibefam becomes significantly higher than it first appears.

How much could you save per month with Rezerv?

If you still think the pricing differences may not look huge at first glance, then let’s break it down using a simple scenario.

Because they become very obvious when you put real numbers behind them.

Scenario: S$45,000 monthly revenue (credit card payments)

Assume your business has 300 members and your average monthly membership price is $150 processed through credit card payments.

That gives you:

  • 300 monthly transactions
  • S$45,000 in monthly card revenue

Vibefam cost

  • Fee: 3.6% + S$0.80
  • 3.6% of S$150 = S$5.40
  • Plus S$0.80 fixed fee = S$6.20 per transaction

Total monthly fee (Vibefam): 300 × S$6.20 = S$1,860

Rezerv cost

  • Fee: 2.5% + S$0.20
  • 2.5% of S$150 = S$3.75
  • Plus S$0.20 fixed fee = S$3.95 per transaction

Total monthly fee (Rezerv): 300 × S$3.95 = S$1,185

Monthly savings

S$1,860 (Vibefam) – S$1,185 (Rezerv) = S$675 saved per month

With Rezerv you can save S$8,100 saved per year!

Even bigger savings with Direct QR Pay

Now here’s where the gap gets even wider.

With Rezerv, you can use Direct QR Pay (manual payment) and reduce transaction fees to 0%.

If even 50% of your 300 members pay through Direct QR Pay, that means:

Card Portion

150 × S$3.95 = S$592.50

QR Pay Portion

150 × S$0 = S$0

Total monthly fee (Rezerv with 50% QR Pay): S$592.50

Monthly savings (With 50% QR Pay)

S$1,860 (Vibefam) – S$592.50 (Rezerv) = S$1,267.50 saved per month

With Rezerv + Direct QR Pay you can save S$15,210 saved per year!

And this is only from card processing fees. It does not include the extra money you may save from:

  • lower add-on costs
  • lower app pricing
  • lower door access pricing
  • avoiding Vibefam’s extra AI dashboard fee

III. Payment ecosystem

Getting paid should be simple. It should also give your business more control, not lock you into one rigid way of charging customers.

This is another area where Rezerv gives businesses more flexibility than Vibefam.

More flexible ways for customers to pay

Rezerv gives businesses more flexibility in how prices are presented and paid.

With Rezerv, your customer is not boxed into a credit-only setup. You can let them pay directly for a class or appointment at a fixed dollar amount, and you can also offer a lower wallet price to encourage prepaid spending.

For example, a yoga class can be set up like this:

  • 1 credit per booking
  • $25 for direct payment
  • $21.50 when paid through wallet

That gives the business more control and gives customers clearer choices. Vibefam’s setup gives businesses less flexibility in how they charge customers. Since they only have credit-based flow.

1. Direct QR Pay

Rezerv supports Direct QR Pay and manual payment options, which gives businesses a simple way to reduce transaction fees all the way down to 0% on selected payments.

That matters a lot in Southeast Asia, where many customers are already comfortable paying through QR (QRIS in Indonesia, DuitNow in Malaysia, etc.) and hard-cash methods. Not every payment needs to go through a credit card. Not every business wants to keep losing margin on card processing fees.

Vibefam does not offer this kind of flexibility. You are pushed toward their default payment flow, and that means you keep paying transaction fees on every payment.

2. Wallet Payments

Rezerv also supports wallet payments, which Vibefam does not.

This is especially useful for businesses that deal with more complex bookings, not just simple one-person, one-price checkouts. In many kids classes, climbing sessions, or family bookings, one transaction can include different people with different roles, different pricing types, and even different account setups.

For example, one booking might include:

  • one adult who joins the climbing session
  • one adult who is only accompanying the child
  • one child who joins using a family-linked account
  • one child who is only attending as a guest and does not even have an account yet

Each of these attendees can have:

  • different roles
  • different pricing types
  • different account setups

And all of that happens in one checkout.

This is where traditional credit-based systems start to break down.

Because credits-based systems are designed for simple use cases. One person buys credits and uses them for the same type of session.

With wallet payments, it’s much simpler.

The system just:

  • calculates the total price
  • deducts it from the wallet

That’s it.

No need to match credits to each person. No workaround. Everything flows in one checkout.

Wallet payments also help your business in other ways:

Better retention

Once customers top up value, they are more likely to come back and use the remaining balance for future bookings.

More upfront revenue

You can encourage customers to top up more than they need for one session. Businesses can also offer wallet-only pricing to encourage prepaid spending.

Cleaner refunds

Instead of sending money back through payment gateways (which often have refund fees), you can return value directly to the wallet for future use.

3. Buy Now, Pay Later

Rezerv also supports Buy Now, Pay Later, which gives customers more flexibility at checkout.

This can help businesses convert more online visitors who are interested but not ready to pay yet.

This is especially useful for bigger-ticket offers like packages, programs, or memberships. A lot of potential customers hesitate at checkout, not because they do not want the offer, but because the payment structure feels too heavy in that moment. BNPL helps remove that friction.

Vibefam does not offer this feature, which means businesses lose one more tool that could help close more sales.

4. Pricing Groups

Rezerv also includes Pricing Groups, which lets businesses create different pricing tiers for different customer segments.

For example, a business may want to offer:

  • VIP pricing
  • Student pricing
  • Long-time member and new-member rates
  • Partner or corporate rates
  • Special access pricing for selected groups

Instead of forcing everyone into the same pricing logic, Rezerv lets businesses be more strategic. You can shape pricing around who the customer is and how you want to position the offer.

V. Marketing, brand presence, and customer experience

Running a fitness business today takes more than bookings and payments. You also need to look credible online, communicate with customers properly, and give them a smooth experience across your website, emails, and mobile app.

This is another area where Rezerv gives businesses a lot more to work with.

1. Website capabilities

Rezerv includes a full website builder for FREE, so you can create your own website in as little as one hour.

It is no-code and drag-and-drop, which means you can design your site exactly the way you want without needing technical skills or external developers.

You are not limited to a template either. You can build:

  • custom pages
  • landing pages
  • FAQ sections
  • blog content

and structure your website based on your business needs.

If you want to see what is possible, take a look at what one of our clients built using Rezerv: https://www.sofstudios.co/

This shows how flexible the builder is.

Rezerv also lets you:

  • connect your own domain
  • or use a free domain provided by the platform

So your website looks clean and professional, for example:

  • yourstudio.com
  • instead of being tied to another platform’s branding.

Vibefam, on the other hand, forces you to use their domain structure:

bookings.vibefam.com/[YourStudioName]

That means your brand always sits under Vibefam’s name.

Imagine you are running a serious business and sending that link to your customers. It does not look as professional, and it does not help you build your own brand authority.

There is also a difference in how the product is built.

Rezerv built the entire website builder in-house, so everything works seamlessly with bookings, payments, and customer management, even staff management and everything related to the backstage of your business.

Vibefam, on the other hand, is limited to a basic booking page. So if you want a full website, you will need to rely on external tools.

That means:

  • more cost
  • more tools to manage
  • more complexity in your setup

Rezerv keeps everything in one place, so you can build, manage, and grow your online presence without jumping between multiple platforms.

2. Custom branded mobile app

Rezerv also offers a native custom branded mobile app.

That is important because a real native app feels smoother, loads better, and gives customers a more polished experience. It feels like an actual app your business owns, not just a shortcut wrapped inside an app icon.

Vibefam’s so-called mobile app is much weaker by comparison. It is essentially an embedded website inside an app shell, something much closer to a glorified website packaged as an app than a true native product.

So while it may technically appear as an app, the experience is closer to using a website in a mobile app, not a proper native product.

That difference affects how your business feels to customers. One feels more premium and professional. The other feels like a shortcut.

3. Built-in email builder

Rezerv includes a drag-and-drop email builder inside the platform.

Businesses can:

  • design branded emails
  • customize layouts
  • create campaigns
  • send everything directly

There is no need to rely on external tools just to run basic email marketing.

Vibefam relies on a third-party plugin for email marketing. This means more setup, more tools to manage, and more additional costs to pay.=

4. Native marketing tools

Rezerv supports multiple automated marketing channels inside one system:

  • email
  • SMS
  • WhatsApp

This gives businesses more ways to reach customers, run promotions, and stay connected.

Vibefam is more limited and mainly focuses on email marketing only, which restricts how businesses can communicate with their audience.

VI. Sports, facility features

Not every fitness business runs on a standard class schedule.

Some businesses need to manage courts, facility access, multiple outlets, or bookings that go far beyond a simple studio timetable. This is another area where Rezerv is clearly the stronger platform than Vibefam

1. Court booking

Rezerv includes dedicated court booking features, which makes it a much better fit for sports and facility-based businesses.

This matters for businesses running:

  • pickleball
  • padel
  • tennis
  • badminton
  • ice-skating
  • other venue or facility bookings

These businesses do not operate the same way as a regular class-only studio. They need software that can handle time slots, facility availability, scheduling flow, and a booking experience that actually fits how customers reserve courts or spaces.

Vibefam does not offer court booking.

That makes it a weaker fit for sports facilities and businesses that rely on facility rentals as part of their revenue.

2. Smart door access

Rezerv also gives businesses a stronger setup for smart door access.

Rezerv charges $15 for smart door access and includes Bluetooth unlock, which gives businesses a more practical and flexible way to manage entry.

Vibefam charges $50 and does not include Bluetooth unlock.

That is a big difference in both price and functionality. With Vibefam you are basically paying more and getting less.

3. Outlet access

Rezerv also supports Outlet Access, which allows customers to check into any of your outlets using either a package or a membership.

This is especially useful for businesses that want to give customers more flexibility in how they use their access. Instead of being tied to one class or one instructor-led schedule, customers can work out on their own time and visit the outlet that suits them best.

This is a strong advantage for businesses offering:

  • open gym access
  • flexible memberships
  • self-directed workouts without needing to book a class or course
  • open-access fitness spaces

4. Time-restricted packages

Rezerv also supports time-restricted packages.

This gives businesses more control over when certain packages can be used. For example, you can create packages that are only valid during:

  • peak hours
  • non-peak hours
  • selected time windows
  • specific operating periods

This is especially useful for court booking and facility-based businesses that want to manage demand more strategically.

For example, a business can:

  • Sell cheaper packages for non-peak hours to fill quieter slots
  • Maximizing revenue by creating premium packages for peak-hour access

VII. AI Capabilities

A lot of software companies love throwing around the word “AI” now. But once you look past the label, the real question is simple: what is the AI actually helping you do?

This is where Rezerv has a much stronger feature than Vibefam.

Vibefam’s AI is mostly about predictions and forecasts

From what Vibefam shows, their AI is mainly focused on predictions and forecasting.

That includes things like:

  • projected sales
  • future trends
  • churn-related forecasting

That is useful, of course. Forecasting can help businesses see where things may be heading.

But forecasting alone is still limited.

It tells you what might happen. It does not necessarily help you understand what needs attention right now, what is causing the issue, or what you should do next.

Rezerv goes further with AI insights

Rezerv does not stop at forecasting.

On top of predictive capabilities like churn prediction and sales forecasting, Rezerv also offers AI Insights and AI Overview.

That gives businesses more than just projected numbers on a dashboard.

It helps surface:

  • what is happening in the business
  • which areas need attention
  • where the biggest risks are
  • where the best growth opportunities may be

So instead of just showing you charts and hoping you figure it out yourself, Rezerv helps turn business data into something more practical and usable.

Rezerv’s pricing

There is also a huge difference in how both platforms price AI.

Rezerv’s AI capabilities are available through a one-time unlock fee of just S$90, with no additional monthly charge after that.

Vibefam, on the other hand, charges S$129 per month for its AI business dashboard.

That is a huge difference.

So not only does Rezerv offer a broader AI feature set, it also does not make you pay an extra monthly premium just to access smarter business insights.

VIII. Security, reliability, and infrastructure

For fitness businesses, software is no longer just an admin tool in the background. It can shape how customers book, how payments are processed, how staff operate, and how facilities are accessed. When a platform sits that deep in the business, security and reliability deserve to be looked at closely.

Vibefam’s Cloudflare attack falls apart fast

Vibefam tries to use Rezerv’s use of Cloudflare as a negative. But on its own comparison pages, Vibefam also describes Cloudflare as a “common industry standard” that provides peace of mind around data safety, and says Rezerv uses Cloudflare as an added protective layer.

That is their own wording. They are attacking the same thing they already admitted is standard security infrastructure.

That contradiction is hard to ignore.

Using Cloudflare is not a red flag

Cloudflare is not some obscure add-on that nobody serious uses.

Cloudflare publicly documents work with Apple on parts of iCloud Private Relay, and it has a public case study showing Discord using Cloudflare for performance and security as it scaled.

Cloudflare also works with IBM Cloud to provide security and edge services.

So attacking Rezerv for using Cloudflare is a weak argument from the start. Cloudflare is used by major technology companies and enterprise environments because it is widely trusted for security, resilience, and scale.

Even US Government Cyber Programs use Cloudflare

This point hits even harder.

Cloudflare announced that CISA turned to Cloudflare for registry and authoritative DNS services for .gov, and the company has also described delivering protective DNS capabilities in connection with CISA and DHS cyber defense efforts. A CISA services page also lists Cloudflare Website DDoS Protection among available services.

So no, using Cloudflare does not make a platform look sketchy. It puts Rezerv on infrastructure that is trusted far beyond small SaaS tools.

Cloudflare outages are rare and global

Like any major infrastructure provider, Cloudflare can experience outages.

When that happens, it is not isolated to one platform. It affects a large number of services across the internet at the same time.

This is important to understand.

A Cloudflare outage is:

  • not specific to Rezerv
  • not a sign of weak security
  • not something controlled at the application level

It is a rare, global event that impacts multiple platforms simultaneously.

Framing it as a problem unique to Rezerv does not reflect how internet infrastructure actually works.

Rezerv is open about its security layer. Vibefam is vague about its own.

This is where Vibefam looks even worse.

Vibefam publicly names Rezerv’s Cloudflare layer, but when describing its own setup, it uses vague language like “built in platform level security” and “industry standard protections behind the scenes.” It does not clearly name the underlying infrastructure or protection stack on the pages reviewed.

So the contrast is pretty clear:

  • Rezerv openly uses a widely adopted, enterprise-grade security layer.
  • Vibefam criticizes that choice while staying fuzzy about what it uses itself.

If Vibefam wants to raise doubts about Rezerv’s security posture, then it is completely reasonable to ask a tougher question back: why should businesses trust sensitive client data, payment activity, and facility access to a platform that stays vague about its own infrastructure while attacking a security layer that major organizations like Apple and CISA already rely on?

Conclusion: Why Rezerv is the better alternative to Vibefam

When you look past the surface, the difference is pretty clear. Rezerv gives businesses lower transaction fees, more flexible payment options, a real website builder, a native branded app, stronger operational features, broader AI capabilities, and more hands-on support. Vibefam, on the other hand, charges more in key areas, locks important features behind extra costs, and offers a more limited setup overall.

So, for businesses that want more control, more flexibility, and more value without getting nickel-and-dimed on essentials, Rezerv is the stronger choice.
